Megan graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology and then completed her Bachelor of Education at the University of Manitoba.
From 2017 to 2020, Megan coached at her alma mater, Fort Richmond Collegiate, where she led the varsity girls’ team to a divisional championship in 2020. Her success that season earned her the prestigious MHSAA Coach of the Year award.
Megan’s coaching career also includes a significant role with the U17 Female Provincial Team, where she has been a part of the coaching staff. In 2018, she head coached the team to a fifth-place finish at nationals. She has contributed her expertise to the Rural Targeted Athlete Program South (TAP) and coaching the varsity girls’ team at Dakota Collegiate.
Currently, Megan is serving as an assistant coach with the University of Winnipeg Wesmen and as the Director of Operations for the Winnipeg Sea Bears, where she plays a key role in growing the game at the professional level.
With her extensive experience as a player, coach, and leader, Megan continues to inspire and elevate the basketball community in Manitoba.
