In partnership with the Manitoba Aboriginal Sports & Recreation Council and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, Sport Manitoba Coaching is hosting a 2-hour virtual professional development session for coaches across Manitoba. During this session, coaches will learn about the history of colonization, assimilation, and residential schools in Canada and the role sport has to play in the path of reconciliation. Coaches will learn about Calls to Action 87-91 and leave the session with clear steps on how to respond to these Calls to Action and implement them into their sport programming.

This is a FREE event. Coaches will receive 2 PD NCCP points for attending. The Zoom link will be sent via email to those who register closer to the event date.
