The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg has announced details on its pending Basketball Development Camp for boys and girls ages 13-15. Under the leadership of NCCP Trained Instructor Grant Richter, he will lead your teen to not only improve their basketball skills but will increase their fundamental understanding of the game itself. Teens will practice their skills on the court and will also spend time in the fitness centre to improve their strength, balance and agility.
Grant Richter has served as both Assistant and Head Coach on a variety of teams including U of W Wesmen, Winnipeg Cyclone, U of M Bisons and Team Manitoba. Grant holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology as well as a Masters of Education in Sport Coaching and has completed the NCCP Level 4 at the National Coaching Institute in Winnipeg.
Basketball Development Camps are 1/2 days with a Co-ed and Girls only option
- July 12 – 16 Co-ed Elmwood Kildonan Location, 454 Kimberly Ave.
- July 26 – 30 Co-ed West Portage Location, 3550 Portage Ave.
- August 16 – 20 Girls only Elmwood Kildonan, 454 Kimberly Ave.
