The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) has announced their 2021-22 basketball season schedules. The season is set to tip off for the with the CMU Blazers and PUC Pilots participating in both leagues and the USB Les Rouges joining MCAC basketball this season.
Opening Weekend
The Blazers kick off the 2021-22 season with a double header. They host the Pilots in the season opener on Friday, Nov. 5 and they travel to play the Rouges on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Game Times
The women will be playing at 6 p.m. on Friday nights and the one Thursday night, while Saturday games will be at noon. The men follow the women with game times at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. this season.
Defending Champions
CMU’s women’s team capped off the 2019-20 season with a MCAC championship and a NIAC win. They will look to defend their title this season, while the men’s bracket is guaranteed to have a new champion.
