The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum has announced that the 2021 Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame induction dinner originally scheduled for Saturday, September 25 is being postponed. The Hall of Fame committee voted unanimously on this matter at a recent meeting. Due to the continued uncertainty relative to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ever-evolving provincial health orders and regulations, it was felt that this difficult decision was necessary.
The Hall wants to honour its newest inductees appropriately and also wants all of those attending to feel comfortable about being in a large group gathering. A new date is being explored and it will be in the new year, perhaps September or October 2022.
The Hall thanks everyone for their patience, understanding and support as it works through these challenging and unprecedented times.
