Hall of Fame News: Basketball Memorabilia Wanted for Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum

Doing some fall cleaning?  The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum is asking all members of the basketball community to search through all of the basketball memorabilia they have collected over the years. We would like to increase our collection with as many 'new' items as possible. We know that many of you have a lot of stuff that you, or your parents, saved over the years. It is probably tucked away somewhere and you seldom look at it. This is an opportunity to donate it to the Hall of Fame and Museum so that it can be preserved and displayed for all our visitors, present and future. It will get a good home, will be looked after and will become a part of the history of the great game of basketball in Manitoba.

We can also convert any old game tapes in most formats to add to our growing Classic Games collection and add them to YouTube.  We can take formats in DVD, VHS, Beta among others.  Learn more...


What are we looking for, you ask? Any and all of the following :

• uniforms, including shorts, warm-ups and coaching shirts
• newspaper clippings including those mounted in scrapbooks
• game programs
• any basketball-related pins
• trophies and plaques
• game and team photos

There is no need to sort or organize – we will take anything in any shape or in any order. We are prepared to pick up whatever you are willing to donate or you can drop it off at...
