Are you passionate about basketball? Do you want to share your knowledge and experience? The Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association (MWSA) is recruiting a Team Manager for its wheelchair basketball program. As part of the coaching team, you will ensure young athletes develop their skills and confidence on the court while emphasizing fun, safety and teaching the value of good sportsmanship.

- Ability to support the basketball team working with the Head Coach
- Ability to lead and engage youth
- Emphasize fun, fitness, and skill development
- Participate in the development of weekly lesson plans and program activities
- Ability to travel with the team out of province, including the 2023 Canada Winter Games
What else do you need?
- 1-2 years experience instructing basketball preferred or a willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- a willingness to become certified as required by Wheelchair Basketball Canad
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification
- Fully immunized against COVID-19 or a valid exemption
