My summer goals are to develop a more consistent long-range shot, to play at a variety of speeds and to be a player that is relied on, especially in close games. I hope to draw from my experience on the provincial team and use it as a tool for improvements in my game moving forward.

My fondest memory in basketball was this past season winning AAAA provincials with my Garden City JV team. It was an amazing feeling because it was the first time this was achieved by the JV girls in our school’s history.

I have a few people who have influenced me: Coach Mally for his positive approach to sport and competition, Coach Dave for helping me learn life lessons through basketball and Coach Suk for demonstrating how important hard work is and for being a huge supporter throughout the years as I grew and my game evolved. I wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for these coaches.
