DEADLINE THIS FRIDAY: After a two-year pause due to the pandemic, Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce details on the 2022 Manitoba Club Basketball Championship set for May 11-15, 2022 in Winnipeg (Winnipeg area teams will begin on Wed / Thurs with teams from outside of Winnipeg will begin on Friday). The 5-day event will involve male and female teams in the 13-18 age range. Registration for the championships will open on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 12 noon. The deadline to register a team is Friday, April 22, 2022, at 4:30 pm OR when the maximum of 8 teams per age division fills up. The registration fee is $475 per team. Discounted rates are offered for Manitoba teams based outside of Winnipeg.
The three venues for the club championships include the Sport Manitoba Courts, the University of Manitoba's Investors Group Athletic Centre, and the University of Winnipeg's Duckworth Centre. Due to the limited number of facilities that Basketball Manitoba can access this spring, there will be a hard cap of 8 teams per division. Registrations that exceed 8 teams in a respected division will be put on a waiting list. Register your team beginning April 1 to avoid disappointment!
