Lorence dela Cruz has announced that he will be joining the men’s basketball team at Central Wyoming College, located in Riverton, Wyoming for the 2022-23 basketball season. Central Wyoming plays in the National Junior College Athletic Association in the Region 9 basketball conference.
Lorence was named the AAAA boys player of the year as part of the Basketball Manitoba Awards held in April and he’s a current member of the 18U Manitoba Provincial Team coming up for the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He finished his high school season at St Pauls High School as the AAAA boy’s provincial champions and is a member of the basketball team that recently won the 18U NBTC Canada Regional Qualifier Tournament as part of Team Winnipeg and earning a trip to the Philippines to compete in the prestigious 2023 NBTC Global Tournament where he will face the best Filipino teams from around the globe.
