The NBTC has led to many college/university scholarship opportunities for HS players from abroad that otherwise would not have been exposed to coaches, scouts and staff from Philippines-based secondary schools. And for others not on that pathway or mindset, exposure to high-level competition amongst peers leading to growth & invaluable experience both basketball-wise and importantly culturally is immeasurable.
