Today on the Basketball Manitoba Podcast we have Daniel Sackey.
He is currently a Senior at the University of New Orleans, which competes in the NCAA Division 1 Southland Conference.
He attended Kelvin High School and transferred from Thornlea Secondary School (Markham, Ontario), where he was a First-Team All-Star in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association (OSBA). He was ranked No. 16 in his class by North Pole Hoops and was selected for the 2018 BioSteel All-Canadian Game, where he won the slam dunk contest.
He went on to play at Valparaiso University (Missouri Valley Conference) for 3 years, where he appeared in 92 games, 65 as a starter. He then transferred to the University of New Orleans, where last year he Averaged 6.6 points per game and 2.8 assists per game in 27.6 minutes played per game.
He represented Canada internationally, competing at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship in Spain.
