2022-23 Canada West Women's Basketball Playoffs
February 17th - March 5th, 2023
BACKGROUND
After a 17-team, single-knockout tournament last year, Canada West returns to its 12-team playoff in 2022-23. The conference's top four team will host play-in games on the first day of postseason action, each taking on the winner the following day in the quarterfinals.
Semifinals are slated for February 24 or 25, with the CW Championship Final (and bronze medal game if needed) to take place the first weekend in March.
The top two (possibly three) teams will earn a spot at the U SPORTS national tournament in Sydney, Nova Scotia from March 9-12.
The Saskatchewan Huskies are the defending champs, now vying for their fourth-straight CW title which would be their ninth overall. Click here for the 2021-22 Championship Final recap.
