Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce the details for the annual Basketball Manitoba Awards that are set for Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Sport Manitoba Courts and at Alloway Hall at the Manitoba Museum in Winnipeg. The event will feature players and coaches from this past year who had outstanding seasons at the high school basketball level. The day features the boys and girls AAAA and A, AA, AAA Graduating All-Star Games and a formal event to announce and present the Manitoba Players of the Year, All-Manitoba Teams, Coaches of the Year, Carl Ridd, Mike Spack, Jim Bulloch, Ron Meyers, Donovan Gayle, Morris Glimcher and Lena Wenke Awards and other special recognition awards. The deadline to reserve your banquet tickets is noon on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

Location for Games: Sport Manitoba Courts (aka Canada Games Sport for Life Centre, 145 Pacific Ave, Winnipeg (GAME LOCATION MAP)

There is no cost to attend the All-Star Games at the Sport Manitoba Courts themselves.

- 10:00 am – AAAA Boys & Girls Games (side by side Courts 1 & 2)
- 12:00 pm – A, AA, AAA Boys & Girls Games (side by side Courts 1 & 2)
- 3:00 pm – All-Manitoba Awards Presentation at Alloway Hall at the Manitoba Museum (Dress Code: Semi-Formal)
- 4:30 pm - Awards Reception at Alloway Hall

- ALL-STAR PLAYER AND COACH LUNCH: Boston Pizza (a variety of meat and meatless options) with additional side dishes, water, and Gatorade (bring your own bottle)
- AFTER AWARDS RECEPTION: Beef slider and nacho bar (with gluten-free and bean patty alternatives)
- Those with allergies or food sensitivities can speak with the designated staff person located near the food tables to discuss any specifics tied to ingredients.

Players selected for the Graduating All-Star Games are asked to be at Sport Manitoba 30 minutes before their scheduled game and to bring BOTH their light AND dark school jersey and shorts to the game. Players who are attending the Basketball Manitoba Awards presentations must reserve tickets on or before Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at noon.
