The Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) has announced its basketball schedule for the 2023-24 season. Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) Blazers look for a sixth consecutive women’s title while Providence University College (PUC) Pilots seek a three-peat in men’s competition as three teams via for the championships in the upcoming campaign.

The conference regular season commences on Friday, November 17 as PUC Pilots host CMU Blazers with women starting play at 6 p.m. Central Time (CT) and the men at 8 p.m. CT. The next day, CMU will then host PUC at the same start times.

Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) Les Rouges first conference play is at home against PUC on Friday, November 24 at 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men).

The 2024 MCAC Basketball Championship will be hosted by USB on March 1 and 2 weekend in Winnipeg. The semi-finals (2nd seed vs 3rd seed) will be on Friday, March 1 with women’s game start time of 6 p.m. CT and 8 p.m. CT start time for men’s contest. The Championship final (1st seed vs. semi-final winner) will be the next night with women’s at 6 p.m. and men’s at 8 p.m. start. All Championship contests will be at Loewen Athletic Centre.

  • November 17-18: Regular season opener weekend: CMU Blazers vs. PUC Pilots
  • November 24-25: Regular season opener weekend for USB: USB Les Rouges vs. PUC Pilots
  • March 1-2: MCAC Basketball Championship weekend
