The Peg City Basketball Association has announced it will be hosting an outdoor summer basketball program that will run from July through September.
Ages 7-8 will receive 25-minute practice and 3 x 10-minute games for 7 weeks. Games will be 3v3 with modified courts and 8-foot hoops.
Ages 9-10 will receive 25-minute practice and 3 x 10-minute games for 7 weeks. Games will be 4v4 with modified courts and 9-foot hoops.
Ages 11+ will receive one 3x3 workshop/clinic with 3x3 Alliance (former pro and high-level 3x3 athletes) and 18 regular-season games plus playoffs.

The WMBA Foundation has built, in partnership with the community centres, a high-quality outdoor court in each of our six league areas.

Registration
Last season teams were formed by the community centres and coached by parents willing to volunteer. Most of these coaches come back the year after and have the option to invite the same players they coached in the previous season to play in the outdoor leagues. These coaches will register their team online, and their players register specifically for that team via an invite code. We will also have a number of teams that we create from players that have never played before and do not have a specific team they want to play with. Generally, we will group players from the same area and create a team, then work to find a coach or manager for the team.
Fees
The program fee will be $225 per participant. Fees include:
- Reversible Jerseys
- 3x3 Clinic/Workshop (Ages 11-18)
- Ages 7-10 will receive 8 weeks of practice and games.
- Ages 11+ will receive 18 regular season matches plus playoff.
