Tianna Mighty has been an active member of Manitoba’s basketball community for many years. A graduate of Miles Macdonell Collegiate in 2014, Tianna began her collegiate basketball career at Canadian Mennonite University during the 2014-2015 season. She later transferred to the University of Manitoba, where she played for the Bisons from 2015 to 2019.
While excelling as a player, Tianna also began to make her mark as a coach, fostering a deep passion for developing young athletes. During her time with the University of Manitoba, she coached for the Junior Bisons Girls Basketball Club and contributed to the 17U Female TAP Basketball program. Her involvement has also extended to various Basketball Manitoba camps, where she inspired and mentored the next generation of players.
Currently, Tianna continues to shape the future of the sport as an assistant coach for the Varsity Girls basketball team at her alma mater, Miles Macdonell Collegiate, now in her fourth season. She also serves as an assistant coach with the Junior Wesmen program, further showcasing her unwavering commitment to basketball and youth development in Manitoba.
Tianna’s contributions, both on and off the court, have cemented her role as a key figure in the province’s basketball community.
