Julia is currently an assistant coach for the University of Winnipeg women’s basketball team and an assistant coach at Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute. She is now finishing her Bachelor of Education at the University of Winnipeg.
Julia played for Basketball Manitoba’s Center for Performance Program from 2013-2016, and she played for the Manitoba Provincial Team Program in 2015 and 2016. Julia continued her basketball career in high school at Vincent Massey Collegiate from 2014-2017.
After high school, she continued her post-secondary career at Canadian Mennonite University from 2017-2022, where she helped lead the team to four consecutive MCAC championships and a NIAC championship in 2020. After graduating from CMU, Julia continued her post-secondary career at the University of Winnipeg from 2022-2023.
