Summit Basketball has announced that they are hosting its July Summit Basketball Skills Sessions at St. Emile School Gymnasium, located at 552 St. Anne’s Road, Winnipeg. The camp offers a fun learning environment focusing on fundamentals and individual skills that translate into game scenarios.
Sessions are available for both male and female players born between 2007 and 2013. Female skills sessions for those born from 2010 to 2013 are scheduled on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm and Sundays from 2-4 pm, while those born from 2007 to 2009 have sessions on Tuesdays from 8-10 pm and Sundays from 4-6 pm. Male skills sessions for those born from 2010 to 2013 are on Thursdays from 6-8 pm and Sundays from 6-8 pm, while those born from 2008 to 2009 have sessions on Thursdays from 8-10 pm and Sundays from 8-10 pm.
Summit Basketball aims to teach, develop, organize, and manage youth players, offering them the opportunity to learn fundamental basketball skills while instilling values such as character, teamwork, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
The cost for participation is $200, and participants are required to bring basketball shoes, a basketball, and a water bottle. Registration can be completed online via the provided link, and payments should be e-transferred to wpgsummitbasketball@gmail.com prior to the first session, with the player's name referenced in the e-transfer.
