Basketball Manitoba is pleased to formally announce the final rosters for the 2024 Manitoba Games. These fifteen teams at the 16U and 17U age levels have been training and preparing since April for the Manitoba Games taking place in Dauphin from August 12-17.
Up to 1,500 of Manitoba’s best young athletes and coaches will gather in Dauphin to compete in 12 different sports. Some of these athletes will make up the team representing Manitoba at the 2025 Canada Games next summer in St. John's, Newfoundland.

The Manitoba Games, powered by Manitoba Hydro, are the largest ongoing multi-sport event in the province.
The Manitoba Games, powered by Manitoba Hydro, follow the Olympic cycle every two years, alternating between summer and winter events.
The program is administered by Sport Manitoba, with direction from the Manitoba Games Council.
Sport Manitoba, Manitoba's corporate community, participant registration fees, and local fundraising efforts fund the program.
Over 750 volunteers are trained to operate a multi-sport event.
2024 Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro Facts
The City of Dauphin previously hosted the Summer Games in 2004.
Sporting events in the 2024 Games include athletics, baseball, basketball, cycling, golf, rugby, sailing, soccer, softball, swimming, triathlon, and volleyball.
The Games run August 11-17, 2024 and are split into two phases. Turnaround day (phase 1 goes home, phase 2 arrives) is Wednesday, August 14.
Dauphin has been known as the "City of Sunshine" due to their reputation for having a high number of sunny days compared to other areas in Manitoba.
