The 2024 Hoops for Hunger Fundraiser, featuring a 3x3 basketball tournament, will take place at 40 Mayfair Place. Teams of four (including one substitute) can compete in either the men's, women's, boys or girls divisions. The event will occur on September 14th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a round-robin format on the first day. Semi-finals and finals will be held on September 15th.
Games are set for 10 minutes or until one team reaches 21 points, with inside-the-paint shots counting for 1 point and shots beyond the 3-point line counting for 2 points. Please bring your own basketball and water bottle.
Team registration is $40, and all proceeds will go towards creating food hampers for low-income families in Winnipeg.
