Team Mayhem Basketball has announced its 2024/25 Developmental Program for boys and girls in grades 6-12. The program aims to help players improve their basketball skills and excel in their WMBA or school teams.
The program runs from September 8, 2024, to June 21, 2025, with sessions on Friday nights from 8 PM to 10 PM and Sunday afternoons from 2:30 PM to 4 PM at Valley Gardens Middle School. It emphasizes building a solid foundation of skills, basketball IQ, and effective use of both hands. Participants are encouraged to practice independently and apply their skills in various game situations.
The fee is $90 monthly, with additional costs for Basketball Manitoba insurance. Spots are limited to the first 25 players who register. The program also includes recorded practice sessions accessible via an unlisted YouTube channel and extra practice opportunities at no additional cost.
