The University of Manitoba Bisons Men’s Basketball program has announced the commitment of Dante Dyck for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
Originally from Winkler, Manitoba, Dyck is a 6’3” guard who most recently played professionally with Olimpia Kings in Paraguay. A former standout at Garden Valley Collegiate, he earned the title of AAA Male Player of the Year in 2024 and once posted a remarkable 56-point game. In his senior season, Dyck averaged 30.1 points per game, showcasing his elite scoring ability at all three levels.
“Dante brings a year of professional experience overseas that has helped him mature and will transition very well to the U SPORTS level,” said Bisons head coach Kirby Schepp. “He can really score the ball at all three levels, and make an impact for the next generation of Bison teams. We are very excited to see what he can do in a Bison uniform.”
Dyck joins a growing roster of top talent as the Bisons continue building for the future.
