Providence University has announced the commitment of Lily Anderson to its Women’s Basketball program for the 2025-26 season. The 5’11” forward from Blumenort, Manitoba, and a standout at Steinbach Regional Secondary School, becomes the third official signing to the Pilots roster for the upcoming season.
Anderson brings a physical and aggressive presence to the court, excelling in the post and demonstrating a strong commitment to team play. Her experience as a team co-captain highlights her leadership, communication, and willingness to support younger teammates.
“It has been a real pleasure to coach and work with Lily over the past three seasons,” said Coach Ray Algera. “She was one of the strongest and most talented players I’ve coached. Her work ethic, leadership, and passion for the game make her a great fit at the next level.”
Pilots Head Coach Kendall Perpall echoed the excitement. “Lily is a talented player with a great work ethic and adaptability. She fits perfectly with our System basketball style and will make a strong impact both on and off the court. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Pilots family.”
